Liquid
Feed Supplement is a by-product
which is derived from the molasses fermentation broth of our amino acid
factory by concentrating it to a solid content of 55%. Our Liquid Feed
Supplement is a condensed liquid that is currently used as a nutrient
supplement for ruminants such as cattle, sheep, horse, etc.
The
Liquid Feed Supplement also called Condensed Molasses Fermentation
Solubles (CMS) in most European countries. In technique sense, CMS is a
by-product from a great variety of fermentation processes that produce
food or feed such as amino acid, organic acid, alcohol, yeast by using
molasses as raw material. In addition to the nutrients come from
molasses, CMS also contains amino acids, vitamins, single cell protein,
and some growth factors which produced by microorganism in the
fermentation processes.
In
the Far East, the majority of CMS available in the market is a by-
product from amino acid fermentation process while alcohol and yeast
production processes contribute most CMS in Europe. The quality of CMS
differs greatly and depends on its production process. Our CMS, derived
from the fermentation process of glutamic acid, an amino acid for food
seasoning, and lysine, an amino acid for animal nutrient supplement, has
the highest protein content in the CMS category.
The
majority of CMS is used as a liquid feed supplement in the livestock
farm to replace the molasses and high protein agri-products. Adding CMS
to the feed decreases the required amount of molasses and high protein
products in the feed.
The current application of CMS includes:
A. As a liquid feed supplement (epandage).
B. Used in the compound feed industry.
C. As a blending/mixing ingredient for molasses and molasses
blends.
D. Sprayed directly onto grass pellets or beet pulp pellets.
The value of CMS includes:
A. To add protein to grass pellets.
B. To increase peletability of feed.
C. To increase palatability.
D. To upgrade molasses for ex-tank sales and its usage in blends.
E. As a way of adding potassium to the feed.
CMS
is a liquid feed supplement with low price but high quality and high
protein content. It is an idea liquid feed supplement until now. The use
of CMS in the ruminants' feed directly decreases the demand for molasses
and Soya meal. For these reasons, CMS has been used for decades in
Europe and North America. |
